Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Commissioning and startup of automation systems based on Siemens PLC controllers

  • Participation in the installation, testing, and commissioning of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)

  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics of automation and electrical systems

  • Configuration and testing of industrial communication networks, including PROFINET and PROFIsafe

  • Cooperation with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams during system integration

  • Ensuring proper operation of safety systems and safety PLCs

  • Performing system tests, functional checks, and acceptance procedures

  • Supporting system optimization and resolving technical issues during commissioning

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commissioning and startup of automation systems based on Siemens PLC controllers

  • Practical experience with Siemens PLC platforms

  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level (ability to communicate in an international project environment)

  • Valid electrical qualifications / electrical licenses

  • Good knowledge of industrial automation, electrical, and safety systems

  • Experience working with industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIsafe

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and automation technical documentation

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in automation and control systems
