Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems, equipment, and tools to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules in line with company procedures and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC/SCADA/DCS systems, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, calibration, and adjustment of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Configure, program, and maintain PLC systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports as per company and client requirements.
  • Provide on-call technical support to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance and safety processes.
  • Ensure all activities comply with HSEQ standards and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / ITI / Vocational certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and maintenance.
  • Hands-on expertise in PLC/SCADA/DCS systems (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Past experience in oil & gas, aviation, heavy industry, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexible to work in industrial plant environments and support on-call requirements.
