Position: Automobile Denter

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Job Description

• Contributing to the company’s goal of total customer satisfaction by proper and timely execution of all repair orders.
• Carrying out service and repairs of customers' vehicles with zero re-job.
• Achieving monthly productivity target as set by the General Manager and/or Operations Manager.
• Ensuring the customer’s vehicle is in a clean condition after the completion of denting works.
• Ensuring quality and control levels are attained at all times during ongoing works and treating customers’ vehicles and belongings with care.
• Using all protective equipment to maintain the cleanliness of the company’s customer vehicle (Seat Covers, Floor Mats, and Fender Covers).
• Maintaining an adequate inventory of the company’s hand tools to meet the servicing, designing, and repairing requirements.
• Ensuring all customer requests on the repair order are being completed to a high-quality standard.
• Striving to complete all repair orders of the company within the time allotted by the Operations Manager and/or General Manager.
• Identifying and advising Operations Manager and/or Team Leader of any additional repair items found on customer vehicles.
• Carrying out a final inspection of all work completed on the assigned job card of the Customer’s vehicle.
• Punching in to the fingerprint scanner of the company’s facility upon arrival at the workshop and punching out upon leaving the workshop.
• Transcribing a clear, accurate account of all work completed onto the repair orders. Also, maintain a clean and professional appearance whilst on the premises by always keeping the work area clean and tidy.
• Thoroughly examining the vehicle damages and providing proper reports to the Operations Manager
• Returning the vehicle back to factory specifications, removing the vehicle trim to gain access to the vehicle body, filling depressions with body filler and ensure a quality repair, removing damaged parts using power tools and recommended tools, bolting or welding replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment, straightening bent automobile frames using frame wrack, filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools, aligning headlights, replacing bolts on panels and align properly, making cosmetic repairs and using special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications.
• Should have experience in accident repairs, body and chassis repairs.

Requirement:

• Qualification / Minimum Level of Education
• High school diploma or technical trade certificate preferred.
• Automotive Body Repair / Panel Beating Certificate (preferred).
• Auto Body Repair or Panel Beating certification (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 to 7 years as an Auto Denter/Panel Beater (UAE or GCC experience preferred).
• Skilled in dent removal, welding, grinding, and metal finishing.
• Knowledge of vehicle structures, panel replacement, and alignment.
• Ability to read job cards, damage reports, or technical diagrams
• .Basic mechanical and body repair knowledge.
• Ability to use dent repair tools, welding machines, grinders, and body alignment equipment.
• Basic understanding of measuring systems and technical diagrams.
• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License preferred (for test drive after repair).
• Basic English for reading job cards and safety instructions.
• Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu skills are advantageous for team/workshop communication
