Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the complete service operations of a busy multibrand workshop, including reception, diagnosis, repairs, quality control, and customer delivery.
- Supervise and lead a team of service advisors, technicians, electricians, and support staff across a variety of vehicle makes and models (Japanese, European, American, etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate vehicle diagnosis and repair, with a focus on quality and first-time fix rate.
- Monitor workshop productivity, technician efficiency, and bay utilization to optimize daily workflow.
- Develop service packages and seasonal offers suitable for a diverse vehicle mix.
- Handle customer complaints, resolve service issues, and maintain a high level of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
- Coordinate with the parts department to ensure parts availability and efficient job flow.
- Maintain updated knowledge of service practices for multiple vehicle brands and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Track and report workshop KPIs including revenue, profit margins, job card status, and repeat repairs.
- Implement continuous improvement programs and staff training initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in service management within a multibrand or independent automotive workshop.
- Proven track record in managing workshop operations and customer satisfaction in a competitive market.
- Strong technical knowledge across a wide range of vehicle makes and systems (mechanical, electrical, diagnostics).
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and DMS software (e.g., Autoline, Kerridge, Tekion, Garage Management Systems).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
