Lead the execution of Bank’s strategic plan within functional scope.
Lead day-to-day execution, governance and monitoring of the reporting functions within division.
Operational Delivery:
Manage all Functions delivering the services within remit.
Set functional priorities and overlook the roll out of transformation activity of functions within division.
Overlook the functional operations within remit, coach utilizing best practices, commonalities of approach with a specific focus on optimized Client Service, Risk Management principles and lean & efficiency principles.
Set and direct best practices and apply the principles of Operational Risk Policy
Manage, lead, develop and coach direct reports
Coach articulating product strategies and ensuring the full execution of the annual operating plan.
Develops related systems and operating procedures, on-going product/process re-engineering.
Involve relevant support departments to ensure smooth operations for all functional products and services.
Business Partnership
Successfully partner with the stakeholders to ensure the strategy alignment and operations to evolve business needs.
People Management:
Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the department by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximise sectional performance.
Lead the talent development initiatives for the assigned department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements
Act as a role model and drive adherence to organisational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the bank.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Manage and ensure effective implementation of the functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of agency activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Continuous Improvement
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Ensure that all unit reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet FAB requirements, policies and quality standards.
Legal Compliance:
Ensures the filing, tracking and monitor compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements as relevant to the area of operations.
Ensure the top management is fully informed on the Division / Functional Scope condition and all important factors influencing its operation.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or Higher in Business Economics, Commerce, Accounting and Finance or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
8-10 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 8 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in Loan Facility function
