Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages with precision, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
  • Provide attentive and friendly table service, taking orders accurately and efficiently, and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the barista station, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, operate the POS system, and manage daily sales records.
  • Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and light meals, following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including setting up the dining area, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently, resolving them to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with customers in a welcoming and personable manner, offering recommendations and creating a positive dining experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional certifications in barista skills are a plus.
  • Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in preparing various coffee beverages, with knowledge of different brewing methods and coffee origins.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and address their needs.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • Show proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Display physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills is a plus.
