Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffees, teas, and signature beverages to brand recipes.
• Engage guests with warm, professional service; make recommendations and upsell pastries/snacks.
• Calibrate grinders, dial-in espresso, steam milk to correct texture, and maintain consistent quality.
• Keep bar and equipment spotless; follow cleaning schedules and food-safety/HACCP standards.
• Manage stock/pars for beans, milk, syrups, and disposables; complete daily wastage/temperature logs.
• Operate POS accurately; handle cash/cards and end-of-shift reports.
• Support outlet promotions and collaborate with the culinary team on pairings.

Requirements

• 1 2 years barista experience in a premium caf or 4/5-star hotel.
• Solid espresso skills (grinder calibration, milk texturing, latte art basics).
• Knowledge of coffee origins/roasts and alternative brew methods (V60, AeroPress, etc. a plus).
• Excellent command of English; polished communication and grooming.
• Comfortable with POS, fast-paced service, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
