Roles & Responsibilities
Batching Plant Electrician Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Batching Plant Electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment within the batching plant operations. In this role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of plant electrical systems, minimize downtime, and support safe and efficient production activities. Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in batching plants. Troubleshoot electrical faults in batching systems, control panels, motors, and machinery. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Monitor plant electrical performance and ensure operational efficiency. Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams during breakdowns and repairs. Maintain maintenance records and reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical Systems, or related field.
- 6 7 years of experience as an electrician in batching plants, construction, or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation basics.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and safety awareness skills.
- Preferred Qualifications Experience in Ready-Mix Concrete or industrial manufacturing plants.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and plant automation systems.
- Electrical license or certification is a plus.
