Raytheon s Field Engineering team is looking for a Battery Maintenance Advisor Repairman (BMAR) to work with our Patriot missile system team. You will provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting skills required to resolve complex Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) electronic and mechanical problems.

What You Will Do

  • Provide day-to-day execution and oversight of the UAE Patriot program and modification processes as well as demonstrate the ability to perform depot level diagnostic, fault isolation, cleanup and repair capability for Patriot Weapon System MEIs.
  • Affect all electronic repairs on location with detailed system knowledge.
  • Monitor work performed by subordinates to ensure it meets or exceeds established quality standards.

This accompanied position will be onsite in United Arab of Emirates for an international assignment.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D/140E/14E/14E/14E/14T or an equivalent course of instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractor.
  • Experience in Field Engineering.
  • Experience with field maintenance troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, tools and available test equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include system integration and checkout.
  • Ability to use all the hardware and software tools currently available to Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in Patriot Depot Forward maintenance.
  • Experience with Quality Control procedures.
  • Experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.
  • Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes.
  • Experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
  • Experience with training team members.
  • Experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
  • Experience living and working in an overseas location.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive planning skills.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Six Sigma Certification.
