The iconic Queen Elizabeth II (QE2), Dubai s only floating hotel, is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Bell Attendant to join its front-of-house team. The role is essential in delivering a warm welcome, assisting guests with luggage and transportation, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the QE2 s rich heritage and British elegance.

Position Overview
The Bell Attendant provides attentive assistance to guests during arrival, stay, and departure. This includes handling luggage, assisting with transport arrangements, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy throughout the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing courteous and efficient assistance.
* Open vehicle doors, assist guests in and out, and offer special help to children, elderly, and guests with disabilities.
* Handle guest luggage with care, ensuring it is safely delivered to and from guest rooms or vehicles.
* Coordinate with valet and bell desk teams to manage smooth traffic flow and vehicle parking.
* Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
* Ensure luggage tags and claim tickets are issued and matched accurately.
* Assist in loading and unloading luggage from cars, buses, or shuttles using safe handling procedures.
* Monitor driveways and entrances for guest arrivals, ensuring safety and organization at all times.
* Communicate efficiently with security regarding traffic management and safety compliance.
* Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell desk, lobby, and entrance areas.
* Report any lost and found items to the relevant department immediately.
* Deputize for bellmen when required, ensuring uninterrupted service coverage.
* Support the Concierge and Front Office team in ensuring seamless guest movement and satisfaction.
* Uphold hotel policies, safety standards, and grooming requirements at all times.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in guest services or a bell desk role within a 4- or 5-star hotel preferred.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
* Highly organized, responsible, and punctual.
* Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
* Strong physical stamina for lifting and transporting luggage.
* Team player with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
* Knowledge of Dubai s major attractions and transport routes is an advantage.
