We are currently looking for a Bid Manager to join our team. The Bid Manager will be responsible for participating in the proposal processes, this includes formatting, assisting with writing and editing of proposals to ensure all requirements are met. The Bid Manager will support responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and oral presentations across the organization. To excel in this role, the Bid Manager must be able to translate complex technical solutions, strategies, and themes into easily understandable, readable, and compelling content.
Job Responsibilities:
Covers all presales activities in MEA region and works actively in multiple countries like Egypt, KSA, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Nigeria and Rwanda
Be able to position and present Microsoft Business Solutions offerings
Analyze requirements and develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials in accordance with RFP instructions.
Proactively engages with key stakeholders to ensure that all written content is appropriate and to the highest quality standard, while maintaining complete commitment to accuracy and handling of sensitive and confidential data.
Performs in-depth editing of draft responses for clarity, technical accuracy, continuity, readability, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling.
Collaborating with the technical team to gain an appropriate understanding of the win strategy and to ensure the response clearly conveys the proper business perspective, key messages, value proposition, and differentiators against our competition
Ensures proposals and related documents are complete and in compliance with RFP and proposal formatting standards.
Preparing Microsoft Business Solutions presentation/demonstration
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal
Develop and deliver proof of concepts
Responsible for final delivery of proposals.
Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in Microsoft solutions and offerings.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or any related field
8 years of experience in a proposal writing role, with verifiable experience managing proposals of high value
Demonstrated experience with technical services proposals (Microsoft Business Solutions in a must)
Solid understanding of government procurement policies and practices
Strong proofreading and editing skills.
Excellent people skills able to work with teams of varying sizes, technical abilities, and levels of authority
Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
Experience in sales orientation, analytical thinking, communication,
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously, maintain professional attitude, and work as a team member, as well as independently
Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint
Possess initiative and ability to work effectively in high stress situations with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to produce proposal content as required
Fluency in English language (oral and written)
