We are hiring a Technical Bid- lead in our Abu Dhabi office.

Role Purpose

The Technical Bid Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating the technical aspects of tender submissions for high-rise and mixed-use construction projects. The role ensures that all technical deliverables are compliant, competitive, and aligned with project requirements, client expectations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of technical submissions for prequalification and tender stages.

• Review ITT (Invitation to Tender) documents, drawings, and specifications to identify key technical requirements and risks.

• Develop and coordinate technical methodologies, construction sequences, and execution strategies.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Commercial, Procurement, and Operations teams to gather required inputs for bids.

• Ensure alignment between technical proposals, cost estimates, and project timelines.

• Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and inputs.

• Prepare and review detailed method statements and technical proposals.

• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize cost, time, and constructability without compromising quality.

• Propose innovative construction solutions for complex high-rise and mixed-use developments.

• Identify technical risks and constraints within tender documents and propose mitigation strategies.

• Ensure all submissions comply with client requirements, local authority regulations (Abu Dhabi), and company standards.

• Compile and review complete technical submission packages, including:

• Method statements

• Construction methodologies

• Project execution plans

• Technical schedules

• Ensure timely submission of bids with high-quality documentation.

• Support Estimation Manager in client presentations, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations.

• Act as a key interface between internal departments and external stakeholders during the bidding process.
