Job Summary

Tetra Edge is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented BIM Architect with a strong background in managing and developing architectural BIM models and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP engineers, façade engineers, and designers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with main contractors and a proven ability to advance design models issued by the design consultant from LOD 300 to LOD 350, 400, and 500. This role requires expertise in BIM processes, tools, and technologies, as well as exposure to 4D, 5D, and 7D BIM applications, to ensure seamless project delivery and integration.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Model Development & Coordination

• Develop and manage architectural BIM models, ensuring the progression of design models issued by the design consultant from LOD 300 to LOD 350, 400, and 500.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP engineers, façade engineers, and designers, to ensure alignment and integration of all design elements.

• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts to ensure seamless coordination between disciplines.

• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and project-specific requirements.

Architectural Design Integration

• Collaborate with design consultants to refine and enhance architectural designs, ensuring technical feasibility and constructability.

• Translate design intent into detailed BIM models, incorporating all necessary architectural elements and specifications.

• Ensure that architectural models align with structural, MEP, and façade systems for a fully coordinated design.

4D, 5D, and 7D BIM Applications

• Support the implementation of 4D BIM for construction sequencing and scheduling, ensuring efficient project timelines.

• Contribute to 5D BIM by integrating cost data into architectural models for accurate cost estimation and budget tracking.

• Assist in 7D BIM applications for facilities management, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive as-built models for operational use post-construction.

Documentation & Deliverables

• Prepare and deliver high-quality architectural BIM deliverables, including shop drawings, schedules, and as-built models.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all architectural BIM processes and outputs.

• Ensure timely submission of BIM deliverables in compliance with project deadlines and quality standards.

Collaboration & Communication

• Act as the primary architectural BIM point of contact, collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to address project requirements and challenges.

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on architectural BIM processes and tools.

• Facilitate effective communication between architectural, structural, MEP, and façade teams to ensure project success.

Process Optimization & Innovation

• Continuously evaluate and enhance architectural BIM workflows, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to drive project success.
