Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare CAD and BIM drawings for infrastructure dry utilities including MV and LV power distribution, street lighting, telecom, ICT, security duct networks, and pumping stations
Work closely with CAD and BIM Managers, Design Leads, and Engineers to deliver assigned project outputs in line with required standards and quality benchmarks
Develop layouts, arrangements, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and detailed drawings from sketches and engineering design information
Review drawings for accuracy, readability, presentation, and compliance with QA and QC processes
Create and manage parametric and non-parametric BIM families and content
Coordinate and communicate with other disciplines to resolve design and utility coordination issues
Support model coordination activities and assist with clash resolution when required
Perform additional drafting and BIM-related duties as assigned
Skills Set
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, BIM platforms, and Navisworks
Experience working with common data environments such as ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud
Knowledge of local authority electricity and infrastructure standards including DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, and Dubai Municipality
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Draughtsmanship-related discipline
Minimum three years of UAE or MEA experience in CAD drafting for infrastructure and dry utilities projects
Hands-on experience with MV and LV power, street lighting, telecom, ICT, and security networks
