As a BIM/CAD Technician specializing in utilities, you'll play a crucial role in the design and coordination of utility systems in civil engineering projects. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for utility projects using CAD and BIM software.

• Ensure all models adhere to company standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Use advanced modeling techniques to optimize the design of utility infrastructures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address design modifications and updates.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive library of reusable CAD/BIM elements.
• Provide support for clash detection processes to minimize design conflicts.
• Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Maintain and update project databases with all relevant drawing and model information.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all utility designs.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and updates as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in CAD and BIM technology and apply innovations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM/CAD Technician, preferably in the utilities sector.
• Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit, for utility projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards related to utilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective project collaboration.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for precise technical drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
