As a BIM/CAD Technician specializing in Utilities, you will play an integral role in the planning, design, and execution of various utility projects. Your primary focus will be on the integration and application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technologies to create detailed and accurate models and drawings. Collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that all designs meet the necessary specifications and are aligned with the project requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in BIM and CAD software, and a strong understanding of utility systems. You will be instrumental in facilitating effective communication across teams and ensuring workflow efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop detailed BIM models and CAD drawings for utility infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to incorporate design changes and updates into models.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of design documents and project presentations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all design changes and revisions.
• Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Assist with the integration of BIM models into various engineering systems.
• Support the ongoing development and refinement of BIM/CAD processes and standards.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM/CAD tools.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
• Identify and solve problems in the modeling and design processes efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM/CAD Technician in the utilities sector.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of utility systems and construction processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design work.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating projects.
