Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The BIM Coordinator manages multi-discipline BIM workflows on assigned projects, ensuring federated model quality, clash-free coordination, and compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. This role acts as the central coordination point between design, technical, and construction teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-discipline BIM coordination sessions and federated model management.

  • Develop and implement project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in alignment with client and authority requirements.

  • Manage clash detection reports and facilitate resolution across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

  • Oversee model quality control including LOD compliance, naming conventions, and data accuracy.

  • Coordinate with external consultants and subcontractors for model submissions and integration.

  • Produce BIM-derived deliverables including 4D scheduling and quantity extractions.

  • Support procurement and site teams with model-based information.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 7–10 years of experience including senior BIM coordination roles with Tier 1 UAE contractors.

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and CDE platforms (BIM 360 / ACC).

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards and UAE authority submission requirements.

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
