As a BIM Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into detailed technical designs using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers to create comprehensive and precise digital models for construction projects. Your ability to interpret architectural and engineering designs will ensure accuracy and efficiency in project execution. Using industry-standard BIM platforms, you ll be responsible for conducting model assessments, making necessary adjustments, and keeping abreast of new releases and technologies. Responsibilities

• Develop and refine BIM models ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to verify technical drawings accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and update BIM models according to project alterations and updates.
• Coordinate drawing submissions and revisions efficiently within project timelines.
• Perform quality control checks on models to identify any inconsistencies or potential issues.
• Implement BIM standards and protocols into design procedures for all projects.
• Provide support and guidance in BIM model navigation to project stakeholders.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and any design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and adopt best practices in the modeling process.
• Work closely with external consultants to gather detailed design inputs and requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports for each project model.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance BIM software proficiency and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a BIM Draughtsman or in a similar design role.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulatory compliance requirements.
