Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate design changes efficiently into the model.
  • Conduct clash detection and coordinate with different disciplines to resolve issues before construction begins, minimizing on-site conflicts.
  • Prepare and present various project documentation, including drawings, reports, and presentations, to stakeholders and clients.
  • Utilize BIM tools for quantity take-offs and cost estimation, aiding in precise budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates on modeling progress and address any technical concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in modeling and documentation to maintain high quality.
  • Train and mentor junior BIM team members, sharing knowledge of software tools and modeling techniques.
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and trends, implementing new tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of BIM execution plans and project workflows to optimize collaboration and communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for technical understanding.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling within the architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar is a must for effective model creation.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like ISO 19650 and BIM execution planning enhances a candidate's competitive edge.
  • Relevant certifications like Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or equivalent demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams shows the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset are crucial for identifying issues and ensuring model accuracy.
