Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality 3D Building Information Models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP). The role ensures accurate model content that supports coordination, clash detection, and construction sequencing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models in Revit/Navisworks for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

  • Implement BIM models in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and LOD requirements.

  • Conduct clash detection exercises and coordinate resolution with relevant discipline leads.

  • Extract 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity takeoffs from BIM models.

  • Collaborate with the design and technical teams to incorporate design changes into models.

  • Maintain model integrity, version control, and adherence to BIM standards (ISO 19650).

  • Support model-based coordination meetings with consultants and subcontractors.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 5–8 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience with a Tier 1 UAE contractor.

  • Proficiency in Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP) and Navisworks (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, CDE environments (e.g., BIM 360, Procore).

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and drawing production workflows.
