Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning of BMS systems including HVAC controls, lighting, energy monitoring, and system integrations.
- Load, configure, and fine-tune BMS software and graphics on field controllers, servers, and operator workstations.
- Integrate field devices (sensors, actuators, VAVs, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, etc.) with BMS using appropriate protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Perform loop checks, functional performance tests (FPTs), and system validation based on I/O points and sequences of operation.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in software logic, hardware wiring, or field devices during commissioning.
- Collaborate with project managers, control panel fabricators, HVAC engineers, and electricians to ensure system readiness.
- Prepare and submit commissioning plans, test reports, snag lists, and as-built documentation.
- Provide training to client/end-users on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards and project specifications.
- Support the handover process to facilities management or maintenance teams.
