Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a skilled BMS Operator to manage and monitor Building Management Systems for commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining BMS systems to ensure optimal performance of HVAC and other connected building services. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  1. Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient building operations

  2. Monitor HVAC systems, electrical, lighting, firefighting, and other integrated services through BMS

  3. Identify alarms, faults, and performance issues; take corrective actions or escalate as required

  4. Perform daily BMS checks, trend logs, and system reports

  5. Coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and rectification of system issues

  6. Ensure energy efficiency and system optimization through proactive monitoring

  7. Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to BMS operations

  8. Support commissioning, testing, and handover of BMS-controlled systems

  9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering

  2. 2–5 years of experience as a BMS Operator in facilities management or building operations

  3. Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or Johnson Controls

  4. Good understanding of HVAC systems and building services

  5. Ability to read control schematics and system drawings

  6. Good communication skills and ability to work in shifts

  7. UAE/GCC experience preferred
