Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The BMS Operator is responsible monitoring the Building Management System (BMS).Also handle both planned and
emergency maintenance. The BMS Operator works closely with other FM, Security teams, engineers, and managers to
keep building services running with minimal downtime, better efficiency, and high user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate & Maintain: Handle HVAC systems, generators, UPS, BMS, and other EM systems.
- Supervise & Inspect: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with SOPs and SLAs.
- Incident & Change Management: Report and analyse incidents, escalate as needed, and manage change requests.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, logs, and generate operational reports (monthly,
- capacity, energy, etc.).
- Access & Security: Manage data centre access, review access requests, provide escorts, and enforce Security
- policies.
- Monitoring & Communication: Monitor equipment and environment, respond to emails, customer issues, and
- helpdesk requests.
- Shift & Teamwork: Work on a 24x7 shift basis, support teammates, and manage shift rosters.
- Training & Vendor Coordination: Train vendors/customers and manage RFI/RFQ processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Valid UAE driving license
- Please note that we are currently considering candidates who are available to join immediately, as applications with a notice period may not be processed at this stage
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC, Mechanical, and Electrical systems
- Proficient in English – reading, writing, and speaking
- Previous experience in data center will be additional benefit
