Bobcat Operators expertly maneuver compact construction equipment for various tasks, including excavation, grading, and site preparation. Responsibilities encompass machine maintenance, safety protocols adherence, and efficient task completion.

Responsibilities:

Operate a Bobcat to perform various tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the Bobcat to ensure it is in good working condition

Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries

Communicate with other members of the team to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow

Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to ensure work is completed to the required standards

Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked and materials used

Ability to operate other heavy machinery as required

Requirements:

Valid bobcat operator certification and license

Minimum of 4 years of experience in operating a bobcat

Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

Physical fitness and stamina to operate equipment for extended periods of time

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to bobcat operation

Familiarity with different types of soil and terrain, and ability to adjust the equipment settings accordingly

Good communication skills to coordinate with other construction workers and supervisors

Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on the equipment, if needed.

Job type: 8hrs duty + overtime

License: Driving license (preferred)
