Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To act as the primary point of contact for customers requiring body and paint repair services. The Bodyshop Advisor is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating repair processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Service
- Greet customers professionally and understand their repair needs.
- Conduct initial vehicle damage inspection and document all required information.
- Explain repair processes, timelines, and cost estimates clearly to customers.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair status.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure a smooth service experience.
Job Estimation & Documentation
- Prepare body repair and paint job estimates following company and insurance standards.
- Capture necessary photos, details, and damage descriptions for bodyshop files.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claims approval and required documentation.
- Create job cards with complete and accurate information.
Coordination & Follow-up
- Liaise with bodyshop technicians, painters, and parts department for smooth workflow.
- Follow up on required spare parts availability and ensure timely ordering.
- Monitor progress of repairs to ensure delivery targets are met.
- Conduct final inspection to ensure quality standards before vehicle delivery.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all repairs are aligned with company SOPs and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate customer and job records in the system.
- Ensure transparency in estimating, billing, and invoicing processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Bodyshop Advisor, Estimator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of body repair, denting, painting, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple jobs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in estimating software and automotive job card systems.
