Brand Manager (Hair Care)

Role & responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement annual brand plans aligned with business goals.
• Drive long-term brand vision, positioning, and category strategy.
• Identify market gaps and consumer insights to shape brand direction.

2. Product & Portfolio Management

• Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with R&D and supply chain for new product development (NPD).
• Conduct pricing analysis, SKU optimization, and portfolio planning.

3. Marketing & Communication

• Lead 360 marketing campaigns (digital, TV, social media, influencers, in-store).
• Work with creative agencies to develop communication assets and brand messaging.
• Ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms.

4. Market & Consumer Insights

• Analyse consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Conduct regular market research and track brand performance (Nielsen, Kantar, etc.).
• Use data to drive decision-making and strategy optimization.

5. Sales & Trade Support

• Collaborate with sales teams to design trade promotions and visibility plans.
• Monitor performance across channels (MT, GT, e-commerce).
• Support category growth initiatives with trade marketing.

6. Financial & Performance Management

• Manage brand P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Track key KPIs: market share, growth, penetration, ROI on campaigns.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with R&D, supply chain, finance, regulatory, and operations teams.
• Coordinate successful product launches and ensure execution excellence.
