Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces meticulously, including scraping, sanding, and filling imperfections to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Apply paint, stains, and coatings with precision, utilizing various techniques like brushing, rolling, and spraying to achieve desired effects.
  • Mix paints and coatings accurately, matching colors and textures to specifications while minimizing waste.
  • Protect surrounding areas, including furniture, floors, and fixtures, using drop cloths, tape, and masking to prevent damage.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational level of knowledge and skills.
  • Completion of a painting apprenticeship or vocational training program, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, enabling transportation to and from job sites and material procurement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building painting, showcasing practical application and expertise.
