Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Bus Bar Fitter to join our production team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of bus bars for electrical panels and switchgear systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and fitting of copper/aluminum bus bars
  • Cutting, bending, drilling, and shaping bus bars as per drawings
  • Installation of bus bars in LV/MV switchgear and panel boards
  • Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Ensuring proper insulation, spacing, and alignment
  • Conducting quality checks during production
  • Following safety standards and production procedures
  • Supporting production schedules and targets

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bus bar fitting in production/manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of copper and aluminum bus bar work
  • Ability to read GA drawings and single-line diagrams
  • Experience with bending machines, punching, and cutting tools
  • Knowledge of insulation materials
  • ITI / Trade Certificate or equivalent preferred
  • Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
