• Expands company clientele base by opening new opportunities and obtaining leads on new projects.
• Conducts business & market research, prepares feasibility studies, gathers information & reports and provides analysis to management for prospective new business areas.
• Identifies & evaluates opportunities within the construction & contracting industry.
• Develops new lines of businesses (LOBs) in line with company’s vision & mission.
• Develops strategic partnerships with relevant companies & builds alliances through networking
• Identifies & recommends potential organizations for merger or acquisition.
• Develops and manages a monthly, quarterly & annual business development plan in alignment to targets.
• Oversee & manage development of marketing materials, brochures, etc.
• Participate in & represent the company at relevant seminars & exhibitions
• Coordinates with internal & external teams for information.
• Ensure that revenue targets are met on a monthly basis.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Should have a degree related to sales or marketing. Ideal candidate would have degree in engineering with postgraduate diploma/MBA in marketing.
• Should have at least 7 years experience, with the last 3 years in a similar role in contracting or construction companies in Qatar.
• Should possess excellent communication skills in English & Arabic.
• Should possess a valid Qatar ID with transferable sponsorship and a valid Qatar driving license.
• Should have sound knowledge of the contracting & construction industry practices in Qatar.
• Should be highly organized with efficient planning & time management skills.
• Should be adept at negotiation with good persuasive & influencing skills.
