Summary:

The BDM Government will be responsible for developing the company’s’ business in Government vertical. This position will lead and oversee development & growth of profitable new business and to develop and maintain effective key relationships. This position will ensure business growth in Govt vertical through directing and managing BD activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the company’s strategy. This position will also be responsible for all aspects of managing & motivating the stakeholder teams, primarily account management & project management.
Duties / Responsibilities

- Identify Opportunities for new lines of business in the Govt vertical
Identify new LOBs in Government vertical in accordance to the company’s strategic growth areas.
Analyze study & understand market/client business needs and technology trends.
Research & locate the potential product/service which fulfills the need. 
- Create Offering for the Government Vertical 
Council and participate with the team in conducting successful comparison between the various potential vendors/partners to assure proper selection
Negotiate, monitor and validate all contracts & agreements of Government vertical with the vendor/partners assuring the company’s rights are well reserved
Develop & maintain a strategic relationship/partnership with the selected vendors/partners of Government vertical. 
Prepare and analyze financial feasibility & profitability of new LOBs in Govt vertical, in coordination with finance
On-time management to locate & activate dealing with the vendors/partners who can support the company in ad-hoc needs.
Monitor continuous update for vendors/partners database in Govt vertical & ensure successful relationship is maintained
Maintain and develop the company’s culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies 
- Product/Service Sales & Handover of the vertical 
Conduct Orientation & knowledge transfer to the Sales team to enable them effectively selling Govt vertical‘s new services / products; this includes product sizing and detailed product presentations and scope of work.
Handover new LOBs of Government vertical to Sales to offer it to their clients
Support & work closely with the sales team by attending the Government vertical’s customer meetings and prepare the customer proposal when needed
Work closely with the marketing department for the Government vertical’s product marketing campaigns.
- Create, develop & manage the BD function in the Govt vertical
Establish goals and objectives of the Business Development function in Government vertical. 
Build & lead an effective, cohesive team for Govt vertical
Manage financial recourses of Govt vertical by performing financial forecasting to the target & setting the annual budget.
Develop business development roadmap of Govt vertical in support of the company’s business strategies / growth plans.

Requirements Needed

- Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent 
- MBA (desired but not mandatory) 
- 7 - 10 years of experience in BD of Govt vertical. 
- Experience in Managed Service Provider environment 
- Strong experience in conducting market researches 
- Experience of managing multiple IT activity types; e.g. technical support, systems architecture planning and implementation, helpdesk operations. 
- Channels and vendor relationship management 
- Strong Client acquisition & client retention skills. 
- High level of interpersonal & Strong negotiations skills 
- A proven track record leading scalable projects that optimize cost. 
- Strong management and leadership skills.
