Responsible for developing and augmenting the business development operations through proper planning and involvement in the overall growth and profitability of the Branch.
Recruits, trains, support and manage sales personnel, as and when needed, for marketing the products of the company.
Renders professional services to the clients of the Branch.
Develops and maintains existing business relations with international and local brokers operating in the U.A.E. market.
Develops a strategic plan with the aim of establishing business relations with the local brokers operating in the UAE insurance market.
Produces viable business from brokers as per the company’s underwriting guidelines.
Handles administrative matters relating to brokers’ business, including liaising with various departments in regard to policy issuance, claims handling and premium collection.
Monitors market players and reports on the new and existing entries and their market shares.
Maintains a record of all business emanating from the brokers.
Identifies new business channels including direct selling.

5 years relevant experience; 3 years in supervisory capacity
