Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as the strong>technical liaison/strong> between foreign steel plants and our company.

Understand customers production lines, equipment, and maintenance requirements (DRI, melting, rolling, etc.).

Handle RFQs, technical clarifications, and follow up on production of ordered spare parts.

Conduct remote/onsite customer visits (mainly GCC & North Africa).

Translate complex engineering problems into clear commercial offers in coordination with the technical & sales teams.

Build long-term customer relationships based on technical expertise, credibility, and responsiveness.

Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery timelines, and project performance.

Prepare weekly reports on visits, opportunities, and customer updates.

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.

10 15 years experience in a steel plant (Meltshop, Rolling Mill, DRI) (Maintenance, or Production).

Excellent understanding of:

Mill equipment

Spare parts

Consumables

Production processes

2. Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate engineering concepts clearly.

3. Excellent English (written & spoken) mandatory due to daily foreign communication.

4. Strong negotiation, communication, and customer-handling skills.

5. Willingness to travel to GCC & North Africa for customer visits.

6. Ambition to shift from engineering/production into technical sales and customer management

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
