We are seeking for a Business Group Manager Market Insights (IT + Office) with excellent account and business management skills within the Information Technology and Office Industry.
The role will be responsible for account and business management of a portfolio of leading multi-national manufacturer and distribution clients within the Information Technology and Office Industry and sets the strategic direction of IT-Office business unit to support the achievement of Company goals. The roles works in partnership with clients to provide market insight to support in achieving growth aspirations within the markets they compete. It is also responsible for revenue generation with client retention through proactive relationship management and client expansion through supporting further client needs and manages the IT/Office Middle East team effectively to support personal and panel growth through meeting agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
¢ Is responsible for IT/Office team staff performance and management including resource allocation, performance management, development and training. Directs and mentors others in analysis of data and creation of impactful insight presentations
¢ Manages, forecasts and achieves the revenue budget for a portfolio of IT/Office clients. Is responsible for identifying and developing new business with current partners to achieve yearly business target.
¢ Manages a defined portfolio of manufacturer and distributor clients within the IT/Office Industry to ensure global and local servicing standards are consistently met. Is responsible for client management activities including identifying opportunities to broaden GfK's penetration into the client's business.
¢ Creates impactful reports with detailed and meaningful insights/commentary; presentation of data and insights internally and externally; analysis of data using a variety of tools. Provides presentations and workshops to senior level management and during key industry events
¢ Manages Market Insight projects for key clients through all steps from inception to sale/delivery to client
¢ Fusion Solutions: Identifies Opportunities to combine GfK data sets to provide new scalable solutions
¢ Panel Lead: Responsible for IT/Office panel. Working with Retail and Operations divisions to ensure all products in panels met with GfK data quality standards.
¢ Presentation Development: Creates impactful presentations with relevant fact based insights through analysis of the sales out data from start to finish
¢ QC: Responsible for the management of the weekly and monthly report production via Quality Checking Project. Demonstrates consistent ability to ensure high levels of control and accuracy checks are met.
¢ Senior Network: Holds a network a senior decision makers within current and potential client. Including leading global brands based within the region.
¢ Presentation Delivery: Standalone confident delivery of the presentations to all levels of seniority, answering client questions as a trusted market expert
¢ Key Client Management: Is responsible for extensive list of defined clients within an IT/Office industry in the country and to ensure global and local standards within area of responsibility. Consults to existing clients to intensify relationship as an industry expert with full market and product knowledge on all categories audited.
¢ Strategy Implementation: Ensure key messages of the company strategy are interpreted, understood and implemented across the IT/Office panel.
¢ Panel Forecasting: Manages, forecasts and works in collaboration with commercial team to achieve the revenue budget for the IT/Office panel in the Middle East
¢ Lead Development: Is responsible for client management activities including identifying opportunities to broaden GfK's penetration into the client's business and enhancing client satisfaction for long term relationships.
¢ Retention: Through commercial excellence achieves GfK Global Retention targets for a set list of clients
¢ Contracts: Handles contract development and negotiation to successful resolution, meeting with GfK standards
¢ Line Management: Manage and develop panel team including coaching, performance management, development planning and training. Responsible for resource allocation and team recruitment.
¢ Delegation: Directs and mentors others in analysis of data and creation of impactful presentations to address questions and highlight opportunities which are relevant to your clients.
¢ Internal Network: Ensure successful co-ordination and working relationship with the key commercial and client solutions divisions within the local and regional structure.

Desired Candidate Profile

¢ Minimum 5 years of work experience within IT/Office or market research industries, including Management Experience.
¢ Established network in Information Technology industry preferably within the Middle East Region
¢ Expert in data analysis and fact based consultancy
¢ Advanced in project management and an expert in negotiation and networking
¢ Advanced knowledge in contract management / rate card theory
¢ Expert in Retail Audit Methodology and on universe and sample
¢ Advance knowledge in MS Office
¢ Expert in English language
