Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Butler provides comprehensive support to the family, ensuring seamless management of household operations, and personal matters. This role involves managing the household staff, ensuring all areas of the residence are maintained to the highest standard, coordinating personal and professional events, and providing personal assistance as needed. The Butler will also handle day-to-day logistics, including personal errands and travel arrangements. The Butler may accompany the family on trips. The role requires discretion, flexibility, and professionalism, balancing executive assistance with household management to support the entire family.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Personal Support
- Manage daily schedules, appointments, and personal/professional commitments for the family members.
- Coordinate and book domestic and international travel, ensuring all logistics are in place.
- Accompany the family to appointments, events, and trips, providing personal assistance throughout.
- Handle confidential matters with utmost discretion.
- Assist with personal tasks, errands, and household-related requirements.
Household & Residence Management
- Oversee daily household operations, ensuring the residence is maintained to the highest standard.
- Supervise household staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Manage inventories, supplies, and vendor relationships.
- Organize and coordinate family events, formal dinners, and gatherings at the residence.
- Provide hands-on support during events, ensuring smooth execution.
- Coordinate logistics for family travel arrangements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols within the household.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred, though extensive relevant experience may substitute.
- 5+ years of experience as a Butler, or in luxury hospitality/private household management.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility to travel with the family internationally and adapt to changing schedules.
- Proven ability to manage both executive tasks and household operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- High degree of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
