Plan, organize and control the procurement of all goods so as to ensure an efficient procurement process.
Maintain purchasing records, process internal requisitions and issue Purchase Orders as required
Plan and execute weekly/monthly promotions to attract customers and generate sale.
Prepare monthly Category reviews and progress chart presentation to Reporting Manager.
Maintain supplier performance information and recommend addition/ deletion from approved suppliers list.
Ensuring the products are delivered on time
Maintaining Gross Profit fixed by the management.
Purchase items that will be successful in electronic retail
Negotiation with Suppliers
Explore the opportunities for Other Income from the supplier.
Always attempting to best deal for the company the highest quality goods and services at the lowest possible cost.
Develop and execute new and existing planned shows that meet or exceed the expectations of the customer.
Maintain ownership of sales, product development and purchasing for a brand or category.
Participate in the development of seasonal sales plans and open-to-buy (OTB).
Track inventory levels and partner with Planning to action items in a timely way (e.g., Returns-to-vendor, Debits).
Responsible for vendor communication, education and preparation.
Responsible to return all vendor calls in a timely basis.
Accountable for vendor contract process from internal legal coordination through executed contract.
Give effective oral and written presentations.
Partner with internal counterparts such as Salesman, Supervisors and Operations Managers to maximize efficiency of product lifecycle activities.
Maintain an understanding of market trends and categories to build the business.
5-8 years experience in Hyper/Supermarket Category Management.
Proven experience in Electronics, IT, Home Appliance purchase.
Solid knowledge of Gadgets, equipment and accessories,
Excellent Customer Service through WOW post sales service experience.
Understanding of data analysis.
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
