Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions

 Complete in-situ and in workshop cabinetry structure and cosmetic repairs that require specialist care and

product use.

 Building of new cabinet structures or refurbishing decorative covering as per technical and engineering

drawings using aviation approved products and techniques.

 Perform the disassembly, intensive detailing and re-assembly of cabinetry.

 Remove, install or restore veneers and other surface finishes on aircraft cabinetry.

 Perform incoming, progressive ongoing and post repair inspection of components.

 Assist with the design and engineering approval of innovative solutions to non-standard customer requests.

 Manage a team of assigned Technical Workers.

 Communicate with the customer when necessary and follow up on all customer requests.

 Following the company training programs and procedures, including progressive completion of work package

paperwork records.

Secondary Job Functions

 Work as Technical Worker on upholstery, saddlery or other components as directed by Workshop Manager.

 Driving, delivering, loading, unloading or any other support activities for any other company department as

directed by the Production Manager in the absence of Primary Function activities

Skills & Qualification

Required Qualification & Education

 A cabinetmaking or specialist carpentry qualification with 18 months documented experience.

 English Proficiency (Speak – Understand – Read – Write).

 Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

 Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualification & Education

 2 years’ documented experience in FAA, EASA or GCAA Part/CAR 145 type organization(s)

 United Arab Emirates Light Vehicle Drivers Licence or International equivalent
