Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D utility infrastructure drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather necessary design specifications.
- Ensure all technical drawings meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Update existing utility plans to reflect any changes and modifications accurately.
- Assist in the planning stages of projects by creating initial design blueprints.
- Verify the accuracy of drawings against onsite measurements and engineering notes.
- Maintain organized records of all CAD files and project documentation.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for drafting improvements and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address issues in design drafts.
- Prepare and produce detailed bills of material for design projects.
- Continuously improve and update skills by keeping up with latest CAD software developments.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of utility design processes.
