Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D utility infrastructure drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather necessary design specifications.
  • Ensure all technical drawings meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Update existing utility plans to reflect any changes and modifications accurately.
  • Assist in the planning stages of projects by creating initial design blueprints.
  • Verify the accuracy of drawings against onsite measurements and engineering notes.
  • Maintain organized records of all CAD files and project documentation.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations for drafting improvements and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to address issues in design drafts.
  • Prepare and produce detailed bills of material for design projects.
  • Continuously improve and update skills by keeping up with latest CAD software developments.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of utility design processes.
