Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Craft exquisite cakes by following unique recipes, ensuring each creation is visually stunning and delicious.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
  • Decorate cakes using various methods, including piping, airbrushing, and edible art, to enhance their presentation.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures meticulously to ensure consistent quality across all baked goods.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers, sharing techniques and best practices for cake making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques by attending workshops, trade shows, and culinary courses.
  • Experiment with flavors and textures to develop new cake recipes that keep the menu innovative and exciting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional baking experience, ideally in a reputable bakery or cake shop.
  • Completion of a culinary degree or specialized pastry arts program, demonstrating formal training in baking.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
