Job Overview

We invite applications from highly qualified and experienced educational leaders for the position of Campus Principal at a prestigious American IB School in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure operational excellence, and cultivate a high-performing academic environment in alignment with the school s mission and the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.

The school is located in a vibrant, well-connected part of Abu Dhabi and offers a collaborative and supportive environment for both staff and students.

Curriculum Information

The school follows the American curriculum while integrating the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework to deliver an inquiry-based, holistic, and globally-minded educational experience from early years through high school.

Key Responsibilities

The Campus Principal will lead and manage all aspects of school operations, including:

• Providing strategic direction and implementing long-term campus goals in alignment with institutional vision
• Leading academic programs, curriculum development, quality assurance, and innovation in teaching and learning
• Ensuring excellence in student welfare, safeguarding, and pastoral care
• Managing budgets, resources, and campus infrastructure
• Recruiting, developing, and evaluating faculty and administrative staff
• Fostering a positive school culture grounded in collaboration, respect, and high expectations
• Engaging effectively with parents, staff, students, and community stakeholders
• Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and health & safety standards

Qualifications Required

• Postgraduate degree in Education, Educational Leadership, School Administration, or a related field
• Significant school leadership experience (e.g., Principal, Head of School, Deputy Principal)
• Demonstrated success in academic and operational management
• Strong skills in financial planning, human resource management, and facility oversight
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
