II. BASIC FUNCTIONS
Plans, coordinates, develops and evaluates related overarching and specific scenarios in support of the Capstone Exercise for the Ministry of the National Guard s (MNG) Command and General Staff College (CGSC) curriculum learning objectives. Works in coordination with Curriculum Developer Instructor Advisor/Team Lead and Curriculum Translation and Multimedia Team Lead for the purpose of consistency, nesting, and synchronization of the Capstone Exercise requirements and CGSC-MNG curriculum program. Coordinates with respective Team Leads in order to ensure nesting and synchronization across all applicable course curriculum.
III. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. In accordance with the Office of the Program Manager-Ministry of National Guard (OPM-MNG) Capstone Exercise design and simulation requirements, conducts planning and development of the Capstone Exercise Operational Environment to include Operational Variables. Generates orders, plans, intelligence preparation of the battlefield (IPB) products relevant to the scenario and applicable curriculum.
2. Coordinates with OPM-MNG for maps and resources necessary for Capstone Exercise and curriculum development.

III. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(CONTINUATION)
A. Duties/Responsibilities: (Continuation)
3. As required, participates as a member of a cross-functional team in support of branch projects, Capstone Exercise integration into curriculum, implementation of the Capstone Exercise, Quality Assurance/Control Quality (QA/CQ), and curriculum revision.
4. Conducts periodic in-progress reviews with the development teams for the purpose of consistency, nesting, and synchronization of the Capstone Exercise requirements and CGSC-MNG curriculum program.
5. In conjunction with OPM-MNG supports the conduct of the exercise.
6. Responsible for administration and sustainment activities for the Capstone Exercise Team.
7. Responsible for knowledge management and data backup and protection.
8. Responsible for compliance with Vinnell Arabia (VA) policies and standing operating procedures (SOPs).
9. Responsible for contract compliance with respective paragraphs of the Performance Work Statement.
10. Establishes work priorities as directed by the branch manager.
11. Performs functions not directly assigned to other management duties required as directed by the branch manager.
B. Independence: Performs his duties under the supervision of the branch manager; performs within broad objectives with significant choice of methods. Frequently develops methods to achieve desired results.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises 2 U.S. and 1 Saudi employee.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education Level: Master s degree preferred. CGSC graduate; graduate of senior service school desirable. An equivalent combination of college level courses, military training, and job site experience may be substituted.
B. Experience: Retired field grade officer and CGSC graduate required. Equivalent U.S. Naval/U. S. Marine Corps or U.S. Air Force rank and schooling accepted. War College graduate preferred. Military and/or civilian college level faculty or service school experience as a curriculum developer and/or instructor preferred. Experience with Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) preferred. Academic credentials (i.e. Ph.D., extensive faculty experience, publications records, etc.), by exception, may substitute for CGSC and/or military experience. Three years minimum experience at brigade or higher-level staff preferred.
C. Specific Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: Project management, extensive knowledge and working experience with U.S. Army logistics, force development, resource management, doctrine and/or curriculum development procedures, combined arms, and peace/stability operations are desirable. Must have a general knowledge of the U.S. Military Systems Approach to Training including instructional techniques and procedures. Extensive knowledge of exercise design and development preferred. Professional training experience in a multicultural environment is preferred. Proficient in MS Office Professional software. Must possess a valid US driver s license.
