The Service Associate A/C Technician monitor and control the Air Conditioning system of the hotel during shift period. Resposible for the execution of the Works Order System. Promotes customer delight and satisfaction for internal and external customers by displaying prompt, courteous and positive attitude.
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows but not limited to:
• Attends to all types of repair and maintenance works required of the hotel refrigeration and air conditioning plant.
• Ensures that all tools/workshop equipment are functioning properly.
• Performs all responsibilities to the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual.
• Maintains good relationship with colleagues and contributes to team spirit.
• Cooperates and co-ordinates with colleagues and outside contractors whenever necessary.
• Interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
• Attends departmental meetings and daily briefings.
• Highlights achievements, problems and challenges.
• Improves customer delight programmes by introducing quality workmanship and services.
• Handles all equipment in a proper Manner. Make sure all equipments are working as standard (check S.O.P)
• Practices accident prevention Measures in the Plant Room Workshop.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work place.
• Maintains good personal safety and grooming standards.
• Participate actively in the environment programme scheduled by the hotel.
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 3 years experience in a similar position in a 5* hotel
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written). Fluency in Arabic langauage is preferable
• Knowledgable in using computers and office softwares (Microsoft Office)
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• Having a warm, attentive and presentable personality
• Accountable and resilient
• Has the ability to work long hours and under pressure
