Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, Supervise and monitor day to day operational, flight planning and optimization, service compliance objectives and targets for Cargo, Courier and Mail, in the assigned sections of Hub Operations, Cargo Terminals and Ramp. Accountable for the planning manpower of the section, supervision of staff, work assignment and distribution, tracking the work progress until completion within specified time norms, handing over incomplete work of 24x7 shifts, in order to achieve highest possible level of service compliance, maximum space utilization and on time performance of flights, conforming to handling ,operational, safety and security standards. Accountable for maintaining an oversight and supervision of the RFS network control tower on a 24 x 7 basis for smooth running of the same. Responsible for invoice verification and daily/weekly reporting of the spend.


In this role, you will;

  • Research, design and delivery of safety campaign, safety promotion, safety stand down to the network stations and service providers.
  • Conduct assigned risk assessments at network stations, to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct ad hoc freighter operation s risk assessments in a timely manner to support freighter operations.
  • Support Safety specialists in reviewing pending action items, following up with stations, collecting and reviewing the evidence and assist in closing the open risks in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain operational safety data and dash boards, analyse the trend, and provide details to the responsible Manager and the safety specialists.
  • Review, analyse and update safety action group and safety board papers accurately to ensure accurate data is presented to the Sn. Management.

Desired Candidate Profile

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below;

  • 12 years of Schooling

  • 2+ years experience in the aviation industry.

  • Strong knowledge of aviation operations, safety, and cargo procedures.

  • Skilled in Dangerous Goods, Live Animals, ULDs, and GDP compliance.

  • Experience in analyzing safety incidents and trends data.

  • Proficient in air cargo rating, load planning, and stock control.

  • UAE driving licence (preferred).

  • Completed advanced cargo courses.
