Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plastic, and metal using hand and power tools, demonstrating precision and skill in execution.
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including frameworks, door frames, and cabinets, to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
- Inspect and evaluate work sites for safety compliance and structural integrity, maintaining high safety standards and minimizing risk.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project integration and timely completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition, including regular cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure longevity and safety.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in carpentry techniques and materials, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
Desired Candidate Profile
Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools, coupled with a strong safety consciousness on the job site.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions in real-time.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients and team members.
Physical stamina and strength, with the capability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and materials, reflecting a commitment to environmentally friendly carpentry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying adaptability and a positive attitude in all situations.
