Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary: Experienced carpenter required for furniture making and fit-out/site carpentry work. Candidate must read and interpret drawings and execute all woodwork including wardrobes, doors, panelling, bespoke furniture and on-site installation/finishing.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings, plans and finishes schedules
Fabricate and install wardrobes, doors, panels, cabinets and custom furniture
Carry out site carpentry works: measuring, cutting, fitting, fixing and finishing
Coordinate with site supervisors, installers and other trades
Maintain tools, materials and ensure workmanship meets quality and safety standards
Troubleshoot and adapt designs on site as required
Desired Candidate Profile
2–5 years UAE experience working in a fit-out company (required)
Proven skills in furniture making, joinery and on-site carpentry
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications
Proficient with hand and power carpentry tools
Strong attention to detail, finish quality and time management
Good communication skills; able to work in a team and follow site instructions
