As a Carpenter, you will bring precision and skill to the maintenance, repair, and creation of wooden fixtures and furnishings, ensuring that every detail of the hotel reflects timeless elegance and quality.What will I be doing?As Carpenter, you will:Carry out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment of wooden furniture, doors, windows, flooring, and other fittings.Construct and install new fixtures and furnishings as required by the hotel.Inspect carpentry work regularly to ensure quality, safety, and functionality.Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests.Operate carpentry machinery and tools safely and efficiently.Assist with preventive maintenance programs to preserve the hotel s appearance and functionality.Work with other Engineering team members to complete projects and resolve issues.Maintain a clean and organized workshop and storage area.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.Perform additional tasks as assigned to support smooth hotel operations.What are we looking for?The ideal candidate will have:Previous carpentry experience, ideally within hospitality or luxury environments.Strong technical knowledge of woodworking techniques, finishes, and materials.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.High attention to detail and craftsmanship.Good problem-solving and organizational skills.Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent requests.A collaborative, team-focused mindset.
