Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly install various types of wooden flooring, including hardwood, engineered wood, and laminate, ensuring precise fits and finishes.
  • Assess subfloors for levelness and structural integrity, preparing them appropriately with leveling compounds or underlayment to guarantee a flawless installation.
  • Meticulously measure, cut, and fit flooring materials, utilizing a variety of power and hand tools, while adhering to detailed blueprints and specifications.
  • Apply appropriate adhesives, fasteners, and finishing products, such as stains, sealants, and varnishes, to enhance the appearance and durability of the flooring.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Holds a recognized carpentry certification or apprenticeship, showcasing formal training in the trade.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in wooden flooring installation and repair, highlighting practical expertise.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of various wooden flooring types, including hardwood, engineered wood, and laminate.
