Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily reconciliation of store takings and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Monitor and reconcile foreign exchange transactions and applicable exchange rates.

  • Oversee the collection, verification, and control of cheque payments.

  • Perform daily reconciliation and tallying of safe funds to ensure accuracy and security.

  • Facilitate and verify credit card reconciliation processes.

  • Manage the redemption and reconciliation of gift vouchers.

  • Handle banking processes for various tender types in accordance with company procedures.

  • Supervise and maintain proper management of store petty cash.

  • Ensure strict adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly operational procedures with timely and accurate reporting.

  • Investigate and resolve till discrepancies, communicating findings to the Cash Office Group Leader and relevant departments.

  • Provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders regarding petty cash, quotations, LPOs, and payment-related queries.

  • Maintain full compliance with IKEA and Al-Futtaim Group directives, as well as internal Standard Operating Procedures for cash office operations.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce.

  • 2-3 years retail cash handling experience; finance and accounting experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in accounting and cash handling processes.

  • Advanced computer literacy, especially with MS Office Excel and data management tools.

  • Very good command of English language; good command of Arabic is preferred.
