Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and manage cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
• Maintain knowledge of store inventory to help customers find products.
• Ensure the checkout area is kept clean, neat, and well-organized.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Bag, box, or wrap purchased items carefully and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while handling customer queries and complaints.
• Assist in restocking shelves and performing inventory audits as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and loss prevention.
• Participate in store meetings and training sessions to remain informed about product updates.
• Support team members by helping with additional tasks when necessary.
• Identify and inform management about any operational issues or discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Previous experience in a cashier or retail role preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate transaction handling.
