Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently to minimize errors.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving payment-related issues with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed and reported to the supervisor.
- Issue invoices and receipts, verifying the accuracy of sales and services rendered to maintain organized records.
- Manage customer returns and exchanges, following company policies and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to financial protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cashier station and surrounding areas, to provide a professional environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security, and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as service and parts, to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a customer service or cashiering role, preferably within the automotive industry, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are crucial for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, are beneficial.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Must have Bachelor/Master degree in Accounts/finance.
