Zahr Freighters is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and invoices as required.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Balance cash registers and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the accounts department regarding transaction records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong numerical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the logistics, freight, or transportation industry.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
